Cast Iron square penstock gate

FYL Cast Iron square penstock gate made in China is generally composed of transmissions, supports, screw rods, gates, door frames, wedges and other components. Cast Iron square penstock gate can be used to cut off, dredge or adjust the water level on water treatment structures such as pipelines and intersection inspection wells, mud and sand tanks, sewage channels, pump station water inlets, and clear water tanks. It can also be used in agricultural drainage and irrigation or other water conservancy facilities. It is used in combination with manual, electric and other hoists.

Cast Iron square penstock gate Feature

The door frame and gate are made of high-quality gray cast iron or nodular cast iron. The guide rails are arranged symmetrically on the left and right and connected with the ends of the two sides of the door frame with stainless steel bolt positioning pins (for small and medium-sized gates, the guide rails can be integrated with the door frame). The length of the guide rail is generally 1/2 to 1/3 of the full opening height of the gate, so the overall structure has high strength, high rigidity, good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and large pressure bearing capacity.

The sealing is achieved through the wedge tightness of the wedge device. The sealing material is copper inlaid strip or rubber, which is precisely processed and ground, so the sealing performance is good.

The gate hoist can be operated by manpower, electric motor or pneumatic device. The hydraulic mechanism drives the gear, worm gear and worm gear of the transmission device to run, and drives the transmission nut or screw to rotate the gate shaft to make vertical lifting movement, thereby opening or closing the gate to achieve water and shut-off. Water or water level adjustment purposes.

Install notes

No matter what type of cast iron square penstock gate, if it is a small gate, such as DN200mm, DN300mm, DN400mm, etc. It is usually not recommended to install the door frame and the door body separately. Usually, the overall installation is used, because the separate installation may cause problems during the installation process. In the middle, the door frame is deformed, which causes problems such as water leakage or hoist do not work.
